Feb 28

We celebrated Chris's 62nd birthday today. It was nice to have everyone together, all the boys, the wives and the grand kids. Chris's spirits are high, though she's very tired from the radiation, 2 more days left, Monday and Tuesday, then we're finished with that for the meantime. Your thoughts and prayers are very appreciated. Love ya, Rog.

  1. Dear Chris and Roger, I am thankful for this blog. Chris, I always picture you as the classy lady, the queen of your castle of men. The first picture that was posted from Thanksgiving was priceless, you with the boys. Loved it. And this picture from today is wonderful. As my Grandma Betty (Jorgensen) would say about my parents grand kids "there isn't a dud among them".
I can see in their eyes you mean the world to them.
Blessings for a good nights rest, and as uneventful of a day tomorrow as possible.

    God speed~ Deb Huch

  4. Dear Chris,
What a beautiful group for your birthday. We were busy in church, and Ray taped the service. He will drop it off and you can view when you want. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. If there is anything we can do for you, just ask. I know that is not easy for you, but it makes people feel better if they can help; otherwise you will get all of this "help" that you do not want. We will keep the prayers coming and you keep your chin up and your heart hopeful (that sometimes is the hard part).
    All our love,
    Ray, Barb, and Katie
