Chris has finally went home, she passed away today at 2:30, surronded by her sons, their wives and her sister Connie. She is indeed in a better place and her suffering is no more.
Thank you all for your support, thoughts, prayers and love.
I will update the blog again here in the next day or 2 with information on Chris's memorial which we're thinking will be this Thursday at St Pauls Lutheran Church here in Greenville.
Love Rog.

We are sorry to hear about your loss. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
ReplyDeleteTo Roger, Troy, Cyd, Dave, Jen, Jer, Gina, thank you for the privilege of allowing me to be a part of your family as Chris ended her earthly journey--all cancers are gone, she is whole in body once again, and her beautiful spirit remains a part of our heart forever. She was a gracious lady to the very end. God bless you and yours forever. Peace to all. Love, Connie & Lee

ReplyDeleteTo Roger and Family
ReplyDeleteNow I lay me down to sleep,
I praise thee Lord my soul to keep,
If I shall die before I wake,
I praise thee Lord my soul to take.
Amen
I know our God is mighty lucky and excited to have this wonderful ANGEL Chris by his side in heaven.
Peace and glory to God. And comfort in the belief of everlasting life.
ReplyDeleteRoger and family,
ReplyDeletePlease accept Jim's and my deepest condolences. I will so miss Chris. She brought a serenity and graciousness to our office each day. Chris was a true lady, and a role model for all of us at High Grade. May God send you His peace and comfort during this excruciating time. Our prayers are with you.

God saw you getting tired
ReplyDeleteand a cure was not meant to be,
So he put his arms around you
and whispered "Come to Me".
With tearful eyes we watched you,
as we saw you pass away.
Although we loved you deeply,
we could not make you stay.
Your Golden Heart stopped beating,
hard working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best.
